HBLFA Raumberg – Gumpenstein

Competition /// The campus of HBLFA Raumberg – Gumpenstein is an ensemble that has grown over decades and consists of various building blocks. Another block is currently in the planning stage. Our competition entry for the new extension “Zubau 76” was developed within this context and with a center-forming identity.

All classes are consistently orientated towards the outside. The outer sides are pleasantly quiet and the views of the landscape are expansive. Towards the west (the new Green Campus) the efficient organisation is broken up. Learning zones spread out, occupying extended corridors and niches between the classrooms. In the entrance area, the elongated auditorium offers plenty of opportunities for interacting with the Green Campus.
