How is it possible to extend the existing building of the Grieskirchen and Eferding district administration with a coherent solution that is convincing in terms of urban planning, functionality and ecology? To ensure that the design is compatible with the conditions on site, we based our approach on a precise analysis of the existing and planned structures.

Customer zone >< Office zone

It is particularly important to us to plan the customer zone and the office zone well organized. This is why the two-storey customer area is located directly at the customer entrance. The office zone is well separated from it. To keep distances short, we have arranged a new staircase directly at the staff entrance.

Appreciating green space

By positioning the building on the south side of the site, the green space along the Trattnach with its groves of trees is generously preserved. In addition, the compact building can be errcted and operated very efficiently. Space remains for future developments.

Efficient and small

Cost-conscious construction is achieved through an ideal building shape. That is why we have developed an almost cube-shaped building and thus minimized the façade area and the roof area. Material consumption is reduced, the ecological footprint remains small and costs can be kept low.
